This past week, Villages of Hope Africa held leadership meetings in Burundi. Every one to two years we gather the Director and one other staff member from each Village together and hold workshops on areas that will better equip them for the important and at times challenging ministry of VOH.

Our Secondary School at VOH Mongu was so excited to receive new school uniforms this week! The students helped decide what colours and patterns they wanted and then we were able to get them made here in Mongu.

Last week VOH Kitwe’s Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) students harvested maize from their garden. It was a good yield! These gardens provide an opportunity for practical agricultural lessons with hands-on experience.

This week we were excited to have the Girl Guide Association of Zambia come and visit it us here at VOH Chongwe. We started our own Girl Guides Club back in 2016 and it was wonderful to be included in the Girl Guide international tour currently taking place.
