Mongu: Musical Talent
Meet Chilombo. She is in the Grade 4 class at VOH Mongu and is doing incredibly well with her music studies. Chilombo was top in her Grade for the latest music test. She is also taking extramural guitar lessons and is progressing quickly.
Chilo is such a joy to teach with her creative flair and charismatic personality!
Kenya: Meet James
Meet James, one of the children living in our children’s homes at VOH Kenya. James is 10 years old and is currently in Grade 1. He came to live at VOH three years ago when he lost both parents and had no one to care for him and no place to live. He is doing very well in school and at home and he loves to play football in his free time. When he grows up he wants to be a bus driver!
Kitwe: Visit from Local School
Last week, VOH Kitwe received a visit from Mufulira Christian School. This school is located in a small town about 45 minutes from Kitwe. They came to visit our school and interact with the grade one pupils.
This visit was part of an education exchange program running at our two schools. The students were excited to receive special guests from out of town and show them around the Village of Hope!
Mwanza: Well done, Massele!
At VOH Mwanza we are very proud of Massele who recently headed off to college. While we will miss him at the Village and at church, we are excited for him and for this opportunity for him to continue his studies!
