Malawi: Feeding Program Anniversary
This past September VOH Malawi was happy to celebrate the one year anniversary of our feeding program in the high-density and low-income community of Kauma. The impact has been amazing to watch.
Burundi: Changing Lives!
At VOH Burundi, we were filled with joy to celebrate the achievement of our two girls who just graduated from trade school. Both received a tailoring machine that will help each of them start their own business in tailoring!
They are extremely happy and thankful for the support they received from Villages of Hope. One of them, Jacqueline, was living in our Girl’s Youth Home at the Village and when she first came to VOH Burundi she could not read or write. Now she is leaving VOH well-equipped to embrace life and to care for herself and her family members.
Chongwe: Girl Guide Club
VOH Chongwe is so happy to start a Girl Guide Club and the girls who have joined are excited and looking forward to having fun with the group and learning new things!
Kenya: Soccer Team
At VOH Kenya, our children love to play soccer. Give the children a ball and they will play anywhere. VOH Kenya has a team that travels to other schools to play against other teams.
Our team is never too busy to stop and pose for a picture in the soccer net, though. Let’s wish them all the best in the games ahead!
Kitwe: First Aid Training
Mongu: Meeting Sponsors
VOH Mongu was excited to have Morne and Natashja, sponsors from South Africa, come and meet their two sponsored children at the VOH School.
Mukena and Precious felt so blessed by their gifts and the hugs they were able to share. It’s such a blessing to have people so excited about the futures of our kids!
Mwanza: Bracelet Gifts
The VOH Mwanza children are sporting their super cool bracelets, which they received all the way from Canada! A girl named Hope made over 100 bracelets for them. They were so happy to receive them and they wear them every day.
Thank you, Hope for touching lives half way around the world!
Zimbabwe: VBS Team
For the past couple of weeks, VOH Zimbabwe was happy to host a visiting team from Hamilton, Ontario. They came to help the village in its various aspects of ministry and also held Vacation Bible School for the kids.
It is always a pleasure to host teams and we appreciate the impact they make in bringing hope to the children. It was a great time indeed.

VOH Burundi is a real miracle to my children and me. One day, I heard from a friend who attends Burundi Assemblies of God Church that there was an opportunity to apply to receive help for orphans. I went there and asked for help for the three children that I was caring for… Read more
