Tell us a bit about your life and how you came to Village of Hope…

After the death of my parents, I was staying with my grandmother at the village in the Eastern Province of Zambia. Life was difficult for us, so much so that sometimes we could go without meals for some days because my grandmother was too old to make a living. At the church where my grandmother was attending, there came news that children who needed help were invited to apply to go to Village of Kitwe. That’s how I found myself here.

What are you doing now and what are your plans for the future?

I am a graduate in Power Electrical from a local trade school, where I was sponsored to attend thanks to my sponsor and other well-wishers.

My plans for the future are to further my education in power electrical because there are levels of qualification that I need to attain.

How would you say Village of Hope has helped you?

Village of Hope has helped me become a child of God first and foremost and helped me know how to live with other people from all over. They have also given me an education and the sponsorship to gain this qualification in Power electrical.

I just want to thank the Village of Hope for giving me the hope that I had lost. I have been blessed with great support. May the Lord Almighty bless you.
