Kitwe: Community Health Centre
Our community Health Training Centre at VOH Kitwe is complete! We have already begun using it for new programs and everyone is thrilled to be able to use these new facilities.
Burundi: Education Workshop
At VOH Burundi we were happy to have the Director of Saint Michel Primary School visit us. She is a very experienced educator and held a workshop on a variety of topics. We are sure her time with us will help us as we interact with our children!
Chongwe: Sharing at Local Church
VOH Chongwe once shared at our local church about our ministry. The children shared songs, poems, and bible verses. The staff was given an opportunity to lead the church service from praise and worship songs to the preaching of the word. We appreciate our local church for hosting us!
Kenya: New Gym Shirts!
The VOH Kenya resident children got new gym shirts! Every Wednesday the school children wear their gym clothes to school for physical education. Thanks to our donors we were able to purchase these colorful new clothes for the children.
Malawi: Blanket Donation!
VOH Malawi is so thankful for a donation of 80 new blankets for our children. The timing couldn’t be better since it gets quite cold at night during these winter months.
Mongu: Physical Therapy
At VOH Mongu, we are so blessed to have Megan, a full-time Occupational Therapist, with us from South Africa! She is an amazing blessing to VOH. She is able to work with children who struggle with their fine and gross motor skills and with the children with various disabilities. The teachers have all seen incredible improvements in many of the children that struggled with writing and drawing as they have done therapy with Megan and we all look forward to seeing them continue to improve and grow!
Mwanza: Back to School!
VOH Mwanza Primary and Nursery School are back to school after a month-long break! Students and teachers are back in the swing of things as we continue to offer quality education for our children.
Zimbabwe: Welcome CAC!
A team from Coquitlam Alliance Church recently visited VOH Zimbabwe. While here, they prepared lunch for the entire VOH Zimbabwe staff. There were 70 people in attendance. After, the team leader shared an enriching and practical message with us all. It has been a blessing to have the team with us!
