We are excited to announce the opening of the VOH Chongwe clinic!
Not only is the VOH Chongwe Clinic a well-designed infrastructure, but it also will provide quality healthcare to resident children, students, staff, and those from the surrounding community. This will not only make their lives better but it will also encourage them to seek early medical care whenever they need it because previously they used to travel long distances to access health services.
The Zambian government is extremely grateful to VOH Chongwe for thinking not only for the children and staff of VOH, but also the whole community of Chongwe.
During her speech, VOH Chongwe Director, Shaline thanked the support from Reliable Charitable Foundation of Hope (RCFH) and its Founders, Darlene and the late Joe Whittaker, and also thanked the government for providing the VOH Chongwe Clinic with health workers and medication so it meets its operation levels expected of it by the community.
ZNBC (Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation) was there and filmed the event, which was later on national television.
Sergio Bersaglio, Executive Director of VOH Africa, was also present for this exciting event and was part of the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Here are some photos from the event:
