VOH Burundi Caring for the Community
Last week at VOH Burundi we paid a visit to a widow who provides a home for six children that she found in the streets. VOH Burundi provides support for all six children so this loving mom is able to care for them with the help of VOH. The children are orphaned and were left without anyone to care for them. Thanks to this loving women, who herself has felt great loss in her life, the children are happy, and together we are able to provide them with the care they need today and also hope for a brighter tomorrow!

Ministry of Education Donates Desks
VOH Chongwe has been changing the lives of children in our community by providing free, high quality education. In recognition of how VOH has been helping the community, the Ministry of Education donated 100 brand new desks. These desks are greatly needed and have come at just the right time as we add grade 7 to the school as the new school year begins next week. We are thankful for this donation and very happy to have the support of local government agencies.

VOH Kitwe Choir Performs
VOH Kitwe was happy to receive an invitation from Kitwe Central Church to attend their service, and share special songs the children had prepared. Some of the songs were led by Ruth, the youngest girl living in the Kitwe children’s homes. Ruth was so excited to be the one leading the group. This was a special day for the congregation as well and they were so touched by the children that they took up an offering for the care of the children. We are thankful for the local support that we are receiving!
