The Boxes of Love arrive at VOH!
It is always an exciting time when the Boxes of Love arrive at Village of Hope, and there is a specific ritual that takes place:
First the boxes are handed out to the children, then the children sit down and they sing songs while beating the boxes like African drums until everyone has a box and they hold the boxes high above their heads and then it’s a “free for all” when they are finally told it’s time to open! It’s such a fun scene to watch and everyone gets really excited!
We would like to thank everyone who is involved with making the Boxes of Love happen – they are a blessing to so many children!

VOH Kitwe Girls Compete in District Tournament
We are so proud of Charity and Janet from VOH Kitwe who competed in the inter-school sports competition and were selected for a District tournament! Charity competed in Volleyball and Janet in Soccer.
Janet (second from the left in the back) is from the surrounding community and is a student at the VOH school. Charity (in the blue) has been at VOH since she was 7 years old, and she is now in grade 10. She is very thankful to be one of the members of the VOH Kitwe family and to have been given the opportunity to discover her talents and gifts.
