The United Nations states, “Children whose parents have already died are disadvantaged in numerous and often devastating ways….They are likely to be poorer and less healthy than non-orphans.” We provide free medical care to over 2000 children. Several of our Villages have on-site clinics that provide basic medical care and where there is not yet a clinic, the children are taken to local clinics and their costs are covered. Shelter

The vision of Villages of Hope Africa is to see children loved and cared for so they will ultimately embrace adulthood as independent and contributing members of society. Our children’s homes help us achieve this vision. If a child is left with no relative or guardian who can provide a home for them, we have community-based homes where they can live in a safe and loving environment. A maximum of eight children live in each home and every home has a house mother who lives with the children full time. Read More
